1. Warm-up (2 minutes)
Mentor: “Hello! How are you today?” (Encourage the Mentee to respond with ‘I’m good’, ‘I’m fine’, or ‘I’m okay’.)
Mentor: “Today, we will practice introducing ourselves and talking about our hobbies. Let’s start!”
2. Model Conversation (3 minutes)
Mentor: “When two or more people talk to each other it is known as a conversation. Listen to this short conversation. I will read both parts first, then we will practice together.”
This is a simulated model conversation and the answers may not reflect reality. The mentor and mentee can alter the questions and answers to reflect reality.
