Teaching/mentoring is conducted on WhatsApp. We harness the power of telecommunications technology to connect seamlessly across national and international borders. We are therefore location-neutral.
COMPASSIONATE MENTORS WITH EXCELLENT ENGLISH SKILLS
Our dedicated and deeply compassionate mentors have excellent English skills. Conversations revolve around lesson plans designed for mentees at varying levels of ability. Mentors commit to working with their mentees, at mutually convenient times, for a minimum of two hours a week, for an initial period of one year. More often than not, this is extended because both mentors and mentees find their relationships immensely rewarding.
MENTEES DRAWN FROM PARTNER INSTITUTIONS
We accept mentees only through our partner institutions, from grades 6-9, and 11. We do not induct students from Grades 10 and 12 into Talk To Me! These are Board exam years, and they are under intense pressure to focus on their academic performance.

Our time, our support, and our expertise are priceless, but we offer them freely. Talk To Me! is not an NGO, it is a movement that we hope will spawn and inspire many similar initiatives.

Talk To Me! has enriched the lives of mentees and mentors alike. While our primary focus is to improve the conversational and social skills of our mentees, our mentors connect so deeply with their mentees that they can help them alter the trajectory of their lives, and, fulfil their aspirations.
