Choose the adjective or adverb (given in the brackets) to complete the sentence.
An adjective is a word that describes a noun or pronoun. “Big,” “boring” and “purple” are adjectives. Examples: I admired the big flower. It was purple.
He walked quickly. Here “quickly” tells you how he walked. “Quickly” is an adverb. Adverbs modify verbs. They tell you how something is done.
Example: My friend is a careful driver. [careful / carefully]
