The Red Flowers

Nasreen loves red.
She has a red backpack and red slippers.
She wants some red flowers.
Her mother takes her to the market to get some seeds to grow red flowers.
They put the seeds in a pot on the balcony.
A bird comes and sits in the pot.
The bird has some seeds in its beak.
Some of the seeds fall into the pot.
Nasreen and her mother water the seeds.
Little green plants begin to grow.
Soon, flowers grow on the plants.
Nasreen looks at the flowers. She sees two red flowers and one white flower.
Nasreen says, “Ammi, how is there a white flower in the pot?”
Nasreen and her mother do not know how the white flower got into the pot.
Nasreen said, “I love my red flowers and my white flower too.”
